Detailed are illustrated accounts of the exploits of the New Zealand Division in the Middle East and the Pacific, the Merchant Navy, the Maori war effort, home defence, the industrial front, defence construction, feeding the forces, primary production, and other features. The whole production is a most valuable contribution to war literature, supplying as it does authentic information in, condensed form of the achievement of a country which, to quote the Rt. Hon. Winston Churchill, “never put a foot wrong.”
