NEW ZEALAND’S WAR RECORD
A profusely illustrated pamphlet covering the whole of the Dominion’s war effort has been produced by the Government with the idea of placing on record in popular form tile contribution made to the Allies’ success in Wo-ld War 11. The production, which come s firom the Prime Minister’s office, covers the period from the declaration of war three minutes after word was
received that Great Britain was at war with Germany, down to the rehabilitation of returned servicemen and women. Detailed are illustrated accounts of the exploits of the New Zealand Division in the Middle East and the Pacific, the Merchant Navy, the Maori war effort, home defence, the industrial front, defence construction, feeding the forces, primary production, and other features. The whole production is a most valuable contribution to war literature, supplying as it does authentic information in, condensed form of the achievement of a country which, to quote the Rt. Hon. Winston Churchill, “never put a foot wrong.”
