GAMES AT WAOTU On Wednesday, 24th, the Waotu Table Tennis Club staged a return match with Putaruru B team. Competition was very keen, and after many close finishes the final score wed: Waotu 17, Putaruru 10. A further competition was ■ played by a Waotu B team, Putaruru winning by 22 games to 5, after many enjoyable matches. At the conclusion of supper Mrs. J. Edwards sup--Plied music for several daneds which proved "very popular with viators ana hosts alike.

PUTARURU CLUB The Puta-umi Table Tennis Club is how "well into its season and good results have been forthcoming. Pot only in attendance but also in the standard of play. On the Bth eight players, Misses E. Drummond, Y. Renner, M. Dalton, D. Jones and Messrs P. Haworth, R. Mills, K. Lilly and J. Arnerich travelled to Matamata to compete in a tournament, from which weo selected a Waikato East representative team to compete against Tauranga. Miss Y. Renner and P. Haworth are to be congratulated on their selection to the representative team, and Miss M. Dalton, R. Millo and K. Lilly on their noted standard of play.

On the 10th when the A team played Puketurua at Puketurua, the B team played Waotu at Putaruru and wa s defeated by 18 games to 1-3.
