T’APAPA MEETING In the absence of Mrs J. Rutledge, Mrs. R. Tyalor presided at the usual monthly meeting of the Tapapa Women’s Institute. Three visitors were extended a cordial welcome. The roll call, “What I would do with £5,” was well answsred -and. j 4 “well spent” by all present. Mrs. R. Taylor, delegate to the Waikato East Council meeting, .held in Matamata, gave a full and' interesting report of the proceedings. 1 Mrs. W. McHardy won ly competition, and Mrs- R.'"Cochrane gave a demonstration on honey- * " combing. The winners of competitions were: Best Bloom: Mrs. W- McHardy. Bowl of Roses: Mrs. A. Barker 1, Mrs. R. Cochrane 2. Soldier’s Biscuits: - Mrs- W. McHardy and Mrs. R.
