OBITUARY .
A THAMES PIONEfcR. [ Mrs. William Henry Paltridg A * The death occurred at Matamat on Thursday, 26th February, of Mrs Paltridge, widow of the late Mr. Wil liam Henry Paltridge, one of ths earl} settlers of Thames, at the age of 6i years. The late Mrs. Paltridge was born at Coventry (England) and came to New Zealand at the age of nine years. On the death of her husband, which occurred four years ago, the deceased came to live with her daughter, Miss Paltridge, of Matamata, with whom she resided until her death. The surviving members of the family are three sons and three daughters : Messrs. Henry Paltridge, Henderson; Frederick, Wailii; James, Birkenhead; Mrs. Patterson, Great Barrier; Mrs. Moyle, Dargaville; Miss Paltridge, Matamata. Interment took place at Thames on Saturday, in the Methodist portion of the cemetery.
