SALE OF PEDIGREE STOCK

Wellington, November 20. The following is a list ot prices obtained by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company at the sale of pedigree stock on Friday : On account of John Reid—Two Shorthorn bulls, 45 guineas each. On account of John Deans—One Shorthorn bull, 55 guineas. On account of J. S. Bruce—One Alderney cow, 15 guineas. On account of E. Olsen—One Ayrshire bull, 22 guineas; two Ayrshire bulls, 10 guineas each ; one Ayrshire cow, 20 guineas. On account of James Little—One Ayrshire ball, 20 guineas; one Ayrshire bull, 5 guineas. On account of Bidwell Bros—One fat heifer, 7 guineas. On account of J. Strang—One fat bullock, 9 guineas. On account of H. Overton—l ram, Lincoln stud, 20 guineas; one rain, Lincoln stud, 22 guineas ; two rams, Lincoln stud, 18 guineas each; 1 ram, Lincoln stud, 10 guineas. A number of this client's rains were disposed of at satisfactory figures after the sale. On account of T. Tanner—One Lincoln stud ram, 28 guineas; one Lincoln stud ram, 17 guineas; one Lincoln stud ram, 15 guineas; one Lincoln stud ram, 12 guineas ; two Lincoln stud rams, 11 guineas each. On account ofP. C. Threlkcld—One Lincoln stud ram, 5 guineas ; two Lincoln stud rams, 4 guineas ; one English Leicester ram, 5) guineas; three English Leicester rams, 5 guineas each ; two English Leicester rams, 4 guineas each. On account of John Deans—Three Southdown rams, 8 guineas each. On account of S. Gorforth—Fat sheep, 14s 3d, 13s, l*fs, 12s od, 11s 3d. On account of Bidwell Bros.—Fat wethers at 17s, 10s, and 15s.
