POST OFFICE SAVINGS BANKS.
The following are the regulations for the above Hank :
1. Interest at the rat** of 4| per rent, per annum is given on 1/200 and undci ; at the rate of 4 per rent, per annum on sums under !..>00; and in the same proportion for anv shorter time on every complete 111 deposited, provid'd that no interest he allowed on more than J/»T»02. depositors in the Post-Office Savings Banks have direct Government security for the prompt payment of their money. ft. A depositor in anv one of the Post office Banks may continue his deposit in any other of such Banks, and ran withdraw his money at that Post-office Bank which is most convenience to him. 4. The strictest secrecy is observed with respect to the Names of the Depositor in Post-office Banka, and the amounts ot their deposits. 5. Money may he deposited hy or on behalf of minors. Depositors over sev n years of age are treated as persons of full age, hut minorr under seven years of age cannot withdraw their deposits until they have reached the age of seven. 6. Applications to the Chief Offices in each Province on the business of Postoffice Savings Banks, and the replies sent thereto are free from charge* or postage*.
