The Town Clerk shall keep a book, in which he shall enter from time to time the number of every lot sold, and the name of the purchaser thereof, together w ith tin? date of the sale of the same, an l shall keep a record of the burials in the Cemetery. RECEIPT FOR PURCHASE MONEY TO HR GIVEN. The Town Clerk shall receive the purchase money for the sale of tnrb lots, and idiall give a receipt tor the same, which receipt shall Ik* held as conclusive evidence of the purchase and selection of the lots mentioned therein. Provided that a duplicate receipt may be given ujkui satisfactory priKil of the original having lawn lost. Persons purchasing grave* may. by permission of the Trustees, to be given in writing by the Town Clerk, fence in tho plots of ground allotted ; provided tb.it all such fences shall not exceed four tecl in height ; and may erect tombstone*, hen 1. stones, or other monuments thereon. The charges mentioned in ruh* 2 do not include payment for any work required to be done beyond the actual digging of any ordinary grave, and, after the interment, filling in the same.
