ADDINGTON STOCK MARKET.

CHRISTCHURCH, March 13. At the Addington market there wore largo entries of stock in almost all departments, but the attendance was not quite so numerous as last week. There was a firm sale for all useful classes of store sheep, but the demand was not keen for backward sorts. The yarding included drafts from the North Island and Marlborough. Fat lambs wore very ifirm, exporters' prices averaging BJd per lb over all. There was also a good sale for fat sheep, exporters operating freely. There was a more even sale for I fat cattle, and prices were generally [ above the export level, only a few head ! being secured by freezing buyers. pTlivru was a good sale for the moderate I class of store cattle offered.
