An excellent picture programme was presented at the Town Hall on Saturday evening, the attendance again being large. The star attraction was the picturisation of the drama "The Wheel of the Law," in which the inimitable Emily Stevens was seen to great advantage. The picture demonstrated in a remarkable and convincing manner the injustice of convicting on circumstantial evidence. The other subjects screened were also of high quality, and The audience were treated to about 2000 ft. of side-splitting comedy, in which the king of comedians—Charlie Chaplin—was the ceptral figure. Another good programme is announced for next Saturday.
