COLLISION IN THE IRISH SEA.

LONDON, March 17. The steamer Rathmorc, with 640 passengers on board, collided with a naval vessel in the Irish Sea. Thirty-six persons are missing. Destroyers rescued the remainder. The Rathmorc was towed to Dublin. Twenty of the survivors were injured.

POSSIBLY FOUR CASUALTIES. LONDON, March 17. The North-Western Railway states that there were no fatalities in the Rathmorc. A telegram from Dublin states that there were possibly four casualties. The Rathmorc was carrying 660 soldiers and 38 civilians, including women and children. She collided with a minesweeper in the darkness. One boat capsized, but the inmates were rescued. The soldiers and crew displayed the coolest behaviour. Both vessels were towed to port.
