RAI FALLS.

(From a Correspondent.)

On Friday, 35th May, the friends and employees of Messrs Bryant Bros, and Miller met at the residence of Mrs C. W. Mills to bid farewell to Mr A. Prentice and Mr W. Milligan on the eve of their departure for camp. During the evening Mr C. Bryant, and also Mr Mills, spoke on behalf of the men, and wished them God-speed and safe return home again. Mr Bryant then called on Mrs Mills to make each a presentation of an illuminated wristlet watch to the departing young men. Mr Prentice feelingly responded, and said he would soon return with the Kaiser’s scalp, and was applauded with much enthusiasm. A sumptuous supper was provided by the ladies of the valley, Songs, dancing, and games were indulged in until the small hours of the morning. A very pleasant little function terminated with the singing of “Auld Lang Sync.’’
