CHRISTCHURCH, May 23. At the Addington market there were increased entries in almost all departments. A heavy yarding of, fat cattle sold at about late rates, export buyers operating to some extent. Fat lambs sold rather better, as more business was done for export. Store sheep also sold well, and fat sheep were very fair. Fat pigs were in good demand at late rates for baconors, and there was a short advance in porkers. Store pigs were in better demand. Store cattle met with a fair sale, and good dairy cows were sought after. Store sheep.—Two-tooth ewes 2os to 345, four and six-tooth ewes 24s to 32s 9d, eight-tooth ewes to 255, soundmouthed ewes 15s 8d to 2os Bd, two and four-tooth wethers 22s lid to 30s sd, six and eight-tooth wethers to 29s 2d, wether lambs 14s 7d to 25s 2d, ewe lambs 23s 6d to 27s lOd, mixed sex lambs 17s lOd to 22s 3d. Fat Lambs.—Extra prime to 40s, prime 28s to 32s 6d, medium 25s to 27s 6d, lighter 20s to 24s 6d.

Pat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers to 44a 9d, prime wethers 30s 6d to 425, lighter 28s to 365, merino wethers 21s 3d to 28s 9d, extra prime ewes 42s 3d, prime ewes 3os to 39s 6d, medium ewes 29s 6d to 34s Od, lighter 20a to 29», merino ewes 18s to 28s lid. Fat Cattle. —Extra prime steers to £22 10s, prime steers £l3 5s to £l9, ordinary steers £lO to £l3, extra prime cows £lB ss, prime cows £lO 10s to £l6, ordinary cows £8 to £l6, extra prime heifers £9 15s to £l4, ordinary heifers £7 10s to £9 10s, Store Cattle.—Fifteen to eighteen months £4 7s 6d to £4 10s, two-year steers £6, two and-a-half year steers £7 7s 6d to £7 10s, two-year heifers £5 17s 6d, three-year steers £8 10s to £9 10s, three-year heifers £8 10s, dry cows £3 5s to £8 10s. Dairy cows £5 to £lB.

Pigs.—Choppers £4 to £7, baconers £3 10s to £s—equal to 7J per lb. Porkers 48s to 65s—equal to B§d to 9d per lb. Medium stores 28s to 345, smaller 18s to 265, weanors 9* to 16a.
