Fuller’s Pictures

The management of Fuller’s Pictures have decided to cevectio Saturday as the show night for Havelock, the change to Monday not having proved the success that was anticipated. A special announcement to this effect will be found in our adveto tising columns. A change was made on Monday night in the screening of the pictures which was a decided improvement. The sheet was placed at the entrance end of the ball and the machine at the back of the stage, with the result that a picture 18 x 14 could be shown. Another advantage that was much appreciated was the fact that part of the audience could be ao* oommodated on the stage, and a longer range of vision given to all present. Farther imptovem mts are now being effected, which will enable the machine to be put still further back, leaving the whole of the stage available for patrons Improvements will also be made in the sluing accommodation as required. The management are evi« dently out to study the comfort of patrons, and when the alterations are completed the Town Hall will be converted into a very up to-date picture theatre. , . The pictures shown on Monaay night wore well up to the high standard set by the previous exhibition's, the drama “The Third Generation” being a partioulary fine film, in which were introduced some excellent scenic settings. The programme to be presented tomorrow (Saturday) evening is a v.ry attractive one, the star pictures “Offending Kias," and “The Great Pearl Tangle,” having been received with much entbuensra wh revet shown.
