MEMORANDUM.
Messrs Copp and Knight, the busy bootmen, Blenheim, make an important announcement in another part of this issue. A general meeting of the Havelock Tennis and Croquet Club will be held in the Pavilion on Thursday evening next to discuss a recommendation from the committee to impose a levy on a'l members as a means of meeting the club’s financial responsibilities. You have only to look at the varied assortment of toys, etc., which Mr Montague advertises in another column to see how quickly you can be suited with what you require. If there is one thing more than another everyone enjoys it is a good cup of tea. Bohan and Co. announce in another column they can supply what is wanted for making it in any quantity.
