PEACE PROSPECTS IMPROVING TURKEY DESIRES MEDIATION London, March 1. The prospects of peace are increasing. TURKEY’S FRONTIER PROPOSALS. Constantinople, March 1. Shevket Pasha proposed to the Russian Ambassador to cede Adrianop!e on the basis of a frontier extending from Iniada to Enos, Turkey allowing Russia to mediate. THE ALLIES’ DEMAND Sofia, March 1. Russia has been requested to inform the Porte that any peace overtures must be made direct to the Allies in stead of to Bulgaria through Russia.
