DECISION RESERVED Wellington, Last Night. The case in which the Inspector of Awards proceeded against the Merchant Service Guild to recover £2OO as a penalty for alleged instigation to an unlawful strike was continued in the Magistrate’s Court, yesterday morning. The so-called strike was that of officers of certain small coastal steamers during September and October of last year. After hearing a lot of evidence and as to whether Captain Watson incited a strike, the ease closed, and the Magistrate reserved bis decision until the 31st inst.
