BEER CONSUMPTION.
STEADY INCREASES. Beer duty revenue in New Zealand showed a further increase last year. An excise of 3d per gallon is charged upon all beer brewed in the dominion, and this realised £1594 more last year than during the year 1910. . , The following amounts were collected at the various ports during 1911: — £ s. d.
