A Dreadful Tragedy.
NINE PEOPLE SUFFOCATED Vancouver, Jan. 18. On the eve of their golden wedding in Yorkton, Mr and Mrs MoNicholl, their daughter-in-law, and six grandchildren, were found dead in their home on the prairie Snow and ice had choked the stovepipe of their cabin and coal-gas from the fire had asphyxiated the inmates whilst they were asleep. The son was absent in Winnipeg arranging for the wedding celebrations of his parents.
