Another Mine Disaster.

POUR MEN KILLED. Sydney, Jan. 14. A disaster occurred at the Barrier mine, West Wyalong. . A party of seven were working below and failed to knock. The manager descended and found five of them overcome by foul air. Three, Frank Maguire, Rube Nicholson, and John Mulhall, were dead, and two others prostrated and in a serious condition. Two brothers, John and Bert Navin, could not be found, and it is improbable that' they are alive. A relief party is searching for them. All the dead ware married men. The scene at the top of the shaft was heartrending. Jan. 15. A later report states that four men died and six others are affected.
