The Wages of Dairy Employees'

AN AUCKLAND CIRCULAR, Auckland, May iB, Mr Arthur Rosser has issued the following circular to creamery managers throughout the Waikato district.

" At a meeting of dairy employees held at Te Awamutu it was considered the time had arrived when concerted action should be taken towards bringing the wages of dairy employees into something like conformity with other classes of labour, It was resolved that the employees in the Auckland district be written to, and their views obtained as to whether a Union be formed.

" Statement of wages.—The minimum rate of wage for creamery managers to be ios per day all the year round ; time and a-half for Sundays, double-pay for public holidays, one month's holiday each year on full pay, free house, coal, and milk. Other employees' rates of wages to be fixed later.
