A Horrible Outrage.

EXTRACTING HUMAN FAT. Sydney, February 9. An aboriginal who has lived with Europeans nearly all his life was attacked near the European tin mines at West Arm, Bynoe Harbour (near Port Darwin), by two hali-civilised natives from the Daly River district. They cut open the victim’s abdomen and abstracted the fat and left him. He was conveyed to Palmerston Hospital, but it is not expected he will recover. The Police are pursuing the perpetrators of the deed.
