Scene in Parliament.
MR CRICK EJECTED. Sydney, July 24. Mr Griffiths has given notice of motion in the Assembly abolishing the office of State Governor, and conferring the duties on the Chief Justice. Mr Carruthers, without comment, moved the suspension of Mr Crick. A long discussion ensued, resulting in the motion being carried by an overwhelming majority. Mr Crick refused to leave the Chamber, and was removed by the Sergeant-at-Arms. He stated that he would take steps legally to assert his rights,
