School Examination.
HAVELOCK. The following scholars passed in the respective Standards at the annual examination of the Havelock school, on Thursday, October 7th : Class X.—Ernest Carter, Standard Vl.—Roy Price, Stella Reader, and William Webb. Standard V.—Caroline Blackbee, Maggie Brown, Elsie Gwillim, Jenny Hennessey, Bertram Nesbit, Charlotte Maule, Flinders Scott, May Twidle, Frederick Warner, and William Venimore. Standar IV.—John Foote, Edward Hennessey, Lucy Jarvis, Conway Reynolds, Frank Reader, and Gertrude Warner. . Standard lll.—Maggie Eden, Letitia Hayden, Elsie Jellyman, and Alice Simmonds. Standard ll.—Cora Gregor, Noel Dee, Arthur Homaun, Frank Nesbit, Cecelia Homann, George Hayden, Leonard Jarvis, Constance Pickering, and Darcy Reader. Standard I.—Oliver Farrelly, Alfred Glover, Violet Pickering, Wilfred Warner, Darcy Reader, Frederick Wells, Violet Wells, James Pope, E. Simmonds, and L. Simmonds. CANVASTOWN. At the recent examination of this school, the following pupils were successful in the respective classes:— Class X.—Eugene T. Rogers and Herbert Hughes. Standard Vl.—Lewis Couper, Alfred Glastonbury and Mary Young. Standard V.—Harriet Glastonbury, Jane Hughes, Neal Simonsen and John Young, Standard IV.—-George Auckram, Jessie Gibbons, Maude Dalton, James Hughes, Edith Simpson, Alice Simonsen, Alice Witney and David Picard. Standard lll.—Maude Alquist, Fred Auckram, Walter Anderson, Mary Ann Glastonbury, Jane L. Hughes, Sinclair Couper, David Murray, Archie Murray, Willie Twidle, Victor Twidle and Daniel Witney, Standard ll—Charlie Alquist, John Pope, Annie Alquist, Elizabeth Gibbons, Willie Glastonbury, Leonard Simonsen, Victor Simonsen, Lizzie Pope, Maggie Walker, Willie Witney, Etty Young and George Wratt. Standard I, Esa Glastonbury, Alfred Dalton, Myrtle Hughes, Maggie Hughes, Annie Twidle, Harriet Pope and Wynnie Blucber.
