The Wool Market.
The wool market is apparently fluctuating a good deal. The last circular says:— . « A somewhat better tone has recently been manifested in certain of [the manufacturing centres, but, judged ras a whole, the position of the industry is not such as to warrant the belief that any material tecovery is to be looked for in the future." London, December^. Medium combing wools have declined 5 per cent., the competition being weaker all round. The New Zealand Loan & Mercantile Agency Company have received the following cable from their London office, dated 6th December, 1892 : " Since the date of our last telegram the market for medium and interior greasy is easier. Fine and medium scoured crossbred has'declined Id per lb since the last sales. Up to date 107,000 bales have been sold."
