1. Handicap Hurdles of £2o.—Distance 2 miles, over nine flights of hurdles 3ft 6in high, second horse to save his stake ; Nomination 10s, Acceptance 10s. 2. Maiden Plate of £ls.—Welter weight-for-age, twice round the course (about 1$ miles), for horses that have never won a race of the value of £lO, second hoiB) to save his stake; Entrance 10s; Entries to be made immediately after Hurdles. 3. District Handicap Hack Race of £lo.—Minimum wieght 9st, for horses not entered for any previous race at this meeting, distance 1 mile; Entrance 10s; Entries immediately after No. 2. 4. Havelock Cup of £4s.—Distance 1| miles, second horse to receive

.£5 out of stakes; Nomination 255, Acceptance 20s. 5. Selling Race of .£2O (Handicap).— Minimum weight Bst, distance 1 mile; entries on ground; winner to become the property of the Club; entrance 20s. 6. Pelorus Stakes Handicap of £Bo. Distance 1£ miles, second horse to receive £5 out of stakes, weights to be declared after running of the Cup Nomination 15s, Acceptance 15s. 7. Handicap Hack Eace of £lo, Distance 1 mile, minimum weight 9st, no horse allowed to start which has been entered for any previous race at this meeting except the Hack and Selling races. 8. Consolation Handicap of £B. Distance 1£ miles, for all horses that have contested in the previous races and not won, horses to be nominated immediately after the running of race No. 7; Entrance Bs.

Eules and Regulations—

No entry will be taken except on the condition that all disputes arising shall be decided by the stewards, or whom they may appoint, their decision on all points to be final.

All races to be run under “ Metropolitan Eules of 1892.” Nominations for Handicap Hurdle Race, Havelock Cup, and Pelorus Stakes close on Saturday, December 17th, 1892. Weights for Hurdles and Cup declared on Wednesday, December 2lst.

Acceptances for Hurdles and Cup close on Tuesday, December 27tb.

All Nominations and entries must be accompanied by the necessary amount of cash, and must be in the hands of the Secretary before 8 o’clock p.m. on the dates advertised. District horses shall mean any horse that has been commonly resident in the Pelorus Riding for three consecutive months previous to the race meeting, and owned by a person who has resided in the said Riding during the same period, and not won a race of the value of £5.
