On and after the Ist January, 1883, a post office will be opened at Mr Steven’s store, Fatutahi; also at Mr J Wallace’s, Matawhero. Mails close at Gisborne on Tuesday and Friday, at noon J. Sheimptoi, Chief Postmaster.
