A Disastrous Fire.
(own correspondent.) Adelaide, Dec. 20. A most disastrous Arc br >ke out yesterday in the warehouses of Crooke and Brooken, Port Adelaide. The whole of the warehouses were completely destroyed. Some adjoining warehouses had a narrow escape. Crooke and Brooken estimate the damage at 1.36,000 to L 40,000. The loss covered by insurances amount to L 25,000, in which all the principal companies are interested.
