A Steamer Sunk.
(OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Monday. Early on Saturday morning the sieamer Tangihua collided with the steamer Minnie Casey, off Beacon Point, neai the Wairoa River. All aboard the Tangihua jumped on the Minnie Casey, and the Tangihua steamed aiong without control for eight minutes and sunk. The collision occurred through the Tangihua’s helmsman starboarding instead of porting helm.
