AUSTRALIAN.
(own correspondent.) Melbourne, Sept. 32. Synnot Bros., wool brokers, have issued a circular, in which it is proposed to convene a meeting for the purpose of taking steps to promote the exportation of wool from Australia to China and Japan. It is the intention of the Victorian Government to introduce a Bill for the protection of women, on similar lines to the Act now in force in England.
