HOSPITAL COMMITTEE.
A meeting of tiie above Cumniiitee was held last n ght. Present: iVlessrs Booth, Admr, E. K. B.own, McKay (Secretary) and Nolan. loe unnuies ol the previous meeting were lead and confirmed and me wards* mans report showed : Remaining 4, admated duung the month 7, discharged 3, remaining 8. Kesoivcu mat Mrs Nash be placed on the permanent staff at 10s. per week, and it her services be required for outside she be engaged at the discretion of lhe matron, the 1 enumeration to be paid to the Hospital funds. Resolved that the thanks of the Committee be accorded to the Harbor Board Committee for the donation of Zeo and to Mr Weston for his exertions in connection with the Hospital I'alls, and to Mr Watson for his donation of books. Accounts passed Mrs Nash,/"r ss. ; Benfield /’ll 6s. Bd.; Erskine,/"32syd; Johnstone £S 3s 5<1.; Aislabie, £1 16s 4d.; Teat and Friar, /"5 15s. 9; W. King, 14s. 6d.; Brown and Smail, 55.; Baldwin, £2 55.; Burch, 55.; Gray, £2 ss. ; Bishop, £’9 I 7 S - Tenders for hospital supplies to be called on the 23rd inist. and to be decided at a special meeting the same evening, tenders to be called for three times in each paper.
