Attempted Child Murder.
(own correspondent.) Wei.i.i:.-<;ton, Friday. As the train from the Upper Hutt was leaving that station on Wednesday morning, Mrs Nicholls threw a boy four years old, on to the line in front of the approaching train, 'j he husband was working near, and ran across and rescued the boy when the engine was within a few yards off. No motive has been assigned for the act,
