Child’s Fatal Fall
Injuries which later proved fatal were suffered by a six-year-old child, Ray Johns, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Johns, when he fell about 20ft. from the top rail of the Whitaker street /bridge, R'uakaka, Te Arch a. Together with a number of other children, the boy was playing on the railings of the bridge when he overbalanced and fell into the stream, [ striking -a concrete 'foundation heavily.
