KILLED IN GRAVEL PIT
FATE OF YOUNG MAN CRUSHED 1»Y LORRY (For Press Association.) TAUMA-RUNUI, this day. Paerangi James Topine, aged 24 years, single, was killed in a gravel pit yesterday morning at Turangi. He was engaged in shovelling metal into a motor truck when it slipped back and crushed him against the bank. The deceased -had been working on the job for only two days.
