DELIGHTFUL DANCE (Herald Correspondent.) The young ladies cf the Wharerata district entertained their friends recently at a delightful dance held in the Wharerata Ha'll. The hall was tastefully decorated with spring bulbs, together with native greenery and punga fronds. The duties -o.'f M.C. were carried out jointly by Misses J. Bushnell,, A. West and S. Richardson, who made a success of their unusual task. Several extras were played by Mrs. A. N. West and' Mr. L. McCaffery, but the greater part of the music was provided by Captain R. Carew with his piano-accordion and on the piano. A mouth-organ item rendered by Miss June Torrie was well received. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss P. C'hing and partner, and a Cinderella waltz proved popular.
