S Slovakian artillery is alleged to | have bombarded Bunkos, destroying; two houses and killing a Hungarian ■ soldier. Yesterday the Slovaks j bombarded KiSkclon, killing one person j and seriously wounding one soldier. The Hungarian press nevertheless is pleading for a reconciliation with | Slovakia. The negotiations have been suspended. The Slovaks returned to-day to Bratislava, declaring that they were unable to accept the Hungarian proposals without consultation. It is understood that the atmosphere is not promising. A Hungarian loan of £6,000,000 is being floated for army equipment. Nine spies, including a German, were to-day sentenced to periods of im-‘ prisonment varying from three to .2 years.
