POULTRY FEDERATION BREEDERS CRITICISED {Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The New Zealand Poultry Federation’s conference was opened to-day, the Rev. Mr. Stent presiding. He complained of the indifference of poultry farmers to the federation. "Money talks,” he said, “and if you have no money, members are a good substitute.” He was still hopeful of bringing some beginnings of order into the present chaotic marketing conditions.
The revenue was shown to be £332 16s Id, including the Poultry Board subsidy of £313 10s and capitation fees £l7 9s 6d. The expenditure totalled £197 12s 9d.
