PORTFOLIOS ALLOCATED
MR LANGSTONS’S ABSENCE CHANGES ANNOUNCED (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this clay. Portfolios administered by the Hon. F. Langs'tone have been re-allocated to other Ministers for the period of his absence from New Zealand as the representative of the Government at the International Labour Office conference in Geneva in .June. This re-allocation was announced last evening by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, as follows: State Forest Service, the lion. H. T. Armstrong; Tourist and Publicity Department, the Hon. W. E. Parry; Native Affairs Deoartmen*., the Hon. li. G. R. Mason; Lands and Valuation I Department, the Hon. W. Lee Martin.
