ARBITRATION LAW

POSSIBLE AMENDMENT RIGHT OF APPEAL (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, last night. Replying to an interviewer, the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, said it might be necessary to amend the arbitration law, as it had been suggested to him that there should be appeals from the Arbitration Court decisions. “I do not know how far-reaching this may be,” said Mr. Savage. “It seems, however, that there is something worth while behind the proposal An investigation will have to be made by the Labour Department with a view to the Government ascertaining where it would be landed in the event of the suggestion being adopted.”
