A consignment of apples by the Waipawa was landed in excellent condition. The first sales were: Worcesters, lis to 13s 6d a case; Alfristons, 10s to 13s a case; Gravensteins, 10s to 12s a case; Cox's Orange, 22s 6d to 27s_ 6d a case.
