LAND PLANE RECORD
CLAIM IN GERMANY (Reed. March 21, 2.20 p.m.) BERLIN, March 20. Germany's latest twin - engined Junkers bomber established a world speed record for land planes. It carried a load of two tons for 621 miles at an average speed of 32U miles an hour. The former record was 294. J miles an hour.
