BURGLARS DISTURBED
RAID ON OARAGE (Per Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU, this day. About 3.30 o'clock this morning, burglars broke into Turner's and Butler's garage in the main street. Entrance was gained by breaking the lock on the back door and an attempt was made to force the lock of the storeroom containing tyre and spare parts. The intruders were disturbed by the nightwatchman and decamped empty-handed.
