Disraeli Street
Sir, —May I crave a little space in your paper t'o air my views regarding tlie state of this —shall I say---beautiful road? A short while back it was full of miniature bathing pools'Which have run dry: now it is as rough as one would line! it in the year 1!)08. One can see graders at Kaili or Mangapapa regularly, but in the heart of the town well, it is not on the estimates; it cannot be done. Of course housewives do not have any trouble with the dust in this glorious area and the bicycle pusher can well afford to purchase new tyres, for they will certainly need them if they use this gateway to Paradise. A suggestion to our Councillors: Push a bicycle along Disraeli street once; that will be sufficient, then something might be done to put it in a (it state for human beings to use. CYCLIST.
