CHILDERS ROAD RESERVE
ALLOCATION OP GROUNDS WINTER PLAYING AREAS A request for the allocation of two grounds on the Childers Road Reserve for the coming season was made to .the Borough Council last night by the Poverty Bay Football Association. The Mayor, Mr. D. W. Coleman, M.P., said he did not anticipate any difficulty in the matter, but he thought it desirable to discuss the matter with the Hockey Association before giving an answer, and for that reaspn he moved that the matter be referred to the reserves committee. Cr. H. E. Maude pointed out that owing to the area not being completed, the Football Association was limited to one ground last season. The Mayor: They will have the two, The motion to refer the matter to the reserves committee was carried.
