CHARGE OF ASSAULT VICTIM’S INJURIES (Per Press Associiuion.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Charges of assaulting Joseph Haiti* gan and using obscene language in a public place were made against a seaman on the Port Denison, Matthew Mac Neill, in the Police Court yesterHe admitted using obscene language, but a remand for a week was granter on the assault charge, on the application of the police, because the extent of the injuries to llalligan was no known.
