When a sailing boat capsized at the mouth of the Waimakariri River on Sunday two men were in serious danger of being drowned. But for the expert seamanship of Mr. David Crozier, commodore of the Waimakariri Sailing Club, it is probable that one life would have been lost and that the overturned vessel would have become a total loss.
