Rakahanga accomplished a pleasing five furlongs in 1.3 l-ssec., the last half-mile occupying 49 3-ssec. Regale was three lengths clear of Serenata at the completion of a halfmile in 49 4-ssec„ but Serenata was under a good hold. Baran led Pearl of Asia throughout five furlongs in 1.4, the last halfmile in 50 3-sscc. Beau Vite was going away from Gayest Son at the end of five furlongs in 1.4, the last half-mile in 50sec. It was an impressive effort on the part of Beau Vite, who is very fit. Lustral Works Well Lady Drake was in front of Batsham after running a half-mile in 50sec. Lustral showed his usual speed on the track by easily accounting for ilinerawe and Etzel over a mile in 1.46. Sunee registered 1.43 for a mile, being assisted by Yours Truly over the final six furlongs, the latter being held back to his companion. Peerless did a working gallop over a mile in 1.56. Ruling Star finished more strongly than Floral Robe at the completion of six furlongs in 1.17 3-5, the 'last half-mile in 51 3-ssec. Royal Show and Pharisee required 1.37 for seven furlongs, and S-hy and Southern Blood were not extended over a mile in 1.54. Happy Heels and Lady Lyric were on terms after traversing six furlongs in 1.20, and Huntino was three lengths clear of Arctic King after covering five furlongs in 1.5, the last half-mile in 50 2-ssec. It was a good gallop on the part of Huntino. Galteemore was well clear of Gay Son and Dungarvan at the completion of seven furlongs in 1.31, the last half-mile taking 50sec. Galteemore hit out particularly well, but Gav Son was closing on him .at the finish. Dungarvan, who has lately been sore in the shoulder, worked scratchily. Mittie was going better than Queen of Song after running seven furlongs in 1.32. the last half-mile in 52sec. No definite decision' has been made in regard to which event she will contest on Friday.
