WED BALLET MASTER
STRIP TEASE DANCER NEW YORK, Jan. 21. Vera .Zorina, strip-tease ballet danccer who made an overnight hit in the London musical show "On Your Toes," was secretly married on Christmas Eve. The bridegroom was George Balanchine, Russian impresario and ballet master. Miss Zorina, 20-year-old Norwegian, starred in the films "Goldwyn Follies" and "I Married An Angel." She says' of strip-tease: "It makes me a bit ashamed. I don't really like undressing in public." After the first night of "On Your Toes," In February, 1937, she was clapped by suppers-out when she walked into the Savoy grill—which is considered one of London's rare honours.
