I'lic Spirit of Adventure The d«*iro. of young children to climb is well known, but seldom does it give the parents the shock it. did recently when a Gisbome mother discovered her ithree-year-old son 25ft. up in the branches of a tree in the garden. After the mother had missed the child for a short time she started o search of the house and garden, and was horrified to see her son holdin;.;' on to a comparatively small branch of a Ijv<? and a considerable distance from the ground. Speaking to the child to restore his confidence and impress upon him not to move, she rushed off to the telephone and communicated with the child's father in town. It was some distance to his home, but the father returned in quick tune and climbed the tree to bring to earth his adventurous son. It was with great relief to the parents that the incident ended so well. When 1n Napier be sure to call at the "Home of Good Eats"— that's the "Trocadero"-Hastlng a Stree' every Sunday.*
