Sydney.—March 13: Arrived, Celtic Monarch, from Auckland. Melbourne—March 13: Arrived, Kaimata, from Now Zealand. "Hoys Will Be Men" Discoursing upon the features of' the recent. Rotary conference in Napier, Rotarian .). 6. Musgrave, reporting to to-day's meeting of the Gisborne Rotary Cl'ub, retailed two short anecdotes which a conference speaker had given to illustrate his text, "Boys Will Be Ivlen." The first concerned a youth newly returned from college, and welcomed with scant courtesy by his father when he showed himself in the glory of his college colours. The father had: just informed the boy that lie looked a perfect fool when a neighbour arrived, and also exclaimed on the lad's appearance, declaring that he was just like .his father at the same age 1 The other tale touched upon the precocity of modern youth. A father who invited his son to a serious talk in his study got no further than mentioning that he wanted to discuss the 'tacts of life, before, overcome with embarrassment, he boggled at his task. "Well, dad" said 1 the young man helpfully, "what is it you want to know?"
