The track is slippery and inclined to cut up. There is a good attendance. Okoke Hurdles, of £150: about one thile and a half and 100yds. 3-2 Red Sun, 11.10 (Carroll), 1: 2-3 Disturbed, 16.0, 2; 7-7 Wynardo, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Glorietta. Won by four lengths, and six lengths. Time, 2.58. Awakinfc Hack Handicap, of £130; 6 furlongs.—2-1 Fiancee, 9.0 (Broughton), 1; 3-4 Le Marquis, 8.10, 2; 5-3 Gitana Lass, 8.3, 3. All started. Won by three lengths each way. Time, 1.16. Mokau Hack Handicap, of £150: 9 furlongs.—s-5 Golden Orchid, 7.7 ’.(.Chote), 1; 2-1 Nereus, 8.12, 2; 1-2 Te Morehu, 8.3, 3. Scratched: Te Huia and Fleur d’Or. Won by half a length, and a head.
